The Ukrainian national ice hockey team played a match for 3rd place at the Tamás Sharkozy tournament. The opponents were the hosts – the national team of Hungary.
Vadim Shakhraichuk’s team won 2:1 thanks to goals from Trakht and Krivoshapkin.
Earlier in the tournament, Ukraine beat Italy in overtime and lost to Slovenia in overtime.
